Capricorn Season — Build the Dream

From the depth to the peaks, Capricorn season is about facing reality in order to connect with your higher self.

Archetype: The Druid // dedication & discipline pave the road to the divine

Say "NO." This is one of my biggest intentions for 2018!! Saturn, ruler of Capricorn, is all about the boundaries of the mundane world, and with Saturn newly in Capricorn until 2020, now is the time to master them. Don't feel obligated to accept circumstances/invitations/pressures to do anything that will take time away from things that will truly serve you. (That doesn't mean chuck your discipline and do whatever you want to do whenever you want to do it! Saturn loves structure and honoring reality, like paying bills and eating nutritious food, so if you stray too far, he'll probably kick your butt back into line, he always does.)

Watch: Meru. Capricorn's symbol, the SeaGoat, is a mythological mountain-climbing creature, reaching for the heavens, and this documentary is literally about mountain-climbing and it's SO BEAUTIFUL (and occasionally terrifying).

Tarot Card: The Devil // Integrate your shadow, or be dominated by it. The next time you feel an emotion or memory coming up that isn't comfortable, instead of pushing it down, acknowledge it and sit with it. Work into it, that's the only way through. I like this meditation to work through these energies.

  • Smoky Quartz: grounding, protection, healing

  • Ocean Jasper: healing, renewal, strength, joy, patience, stability

  • Agate: balance, security, confidence
